Conserver H Series (Electric)
The Conserver H Series comes in two sizes:
.
      •  Conserver H1 for smaller engines (less than 10-gallon fluid capacity)
      •  Conserver H2 for over-the-road tractors, off-road vehicles and stationary equipment with capacities of up to
          30 gallons of fluid

The Conserver H Series is used on hydraulic systems and certain stationary equipment. The H series includes a heating element having a helical surface to increase oil contact with the heating element. Such a surface (known as winding) channels the oil past the heating element in a spiral path, thereby increasing heat transfer to the oil. The Conserver Unit also includes an evaporation cone having a bore in which the coiled heating element is positioned. The bore of the evaporation cone is sized to maximize the efficiency of the system. The exterior of the evaporation cone is shaped to spread the heated oil over a large surface as the oil is discharged from the top of the bore to maximize evaporation of water and other volatiles from the oil. Airflow is directed across the exterior surface of the evaporation cone to further improve volatile evaporation. Thus, the Conserver H Series provides substantially improved volatile removal compared to other similarly designed systems.

The evaporation cone of the Conserver Filterhead is further configured with a crimped base so that while heat transfer to the fluid is maximized, heat transfer to the system housing is minimized. Thus, the Conserver Systems improve volatile evaporation while maintaining heat transfer to the purification system and its surroundings.

The airflow system within the Conserver products draws evaporated volatiles out of the engine area. It is important that these evaporated volatiles do not condense and recombine with the oil or hydraulic fluid. Airflow is improved by pressurizing an air inlet and/or applying suction to an air outlet, as desired, in the various systems in which the Conserver Units are employed.
