RE³ Optimization Systems is in the final
testing phase on a Predictive Oil Analyzer that will signal if major
contaminants are building up in a system’s engine oil according to set
parameters. The analyzer will be feeding real time analysis of the oil and
checking for glycol, water, soot, metals, and viscosity through a suitable
wireless communication.
Future Enhancements
To further improve our products, RE³
Optimization Systems is exploring the ability to utilize a global positioning
system (GPS) with the Predictive Oil Analyzer to connect to all vehicles in a
fleet when within range (at present, this requires a manual selection). Doing so
will allow the user to quickly and easily determine if an oil change is
necessary and expedite the appropriate action.
The ability to assign both Cab Modules and PCs to a single
Sensor Module is also being examined, as it would provide more flexibility. At
present, Sensor Modules can be assigned independently to one Cab Module or one
Central Hub PC. |
